Brewer Engineering Consultants, PLC

The Social Security Administration Building in Creston, Iowa has been awarded a LEED Silver Rating.  Brewer Engineering provided MEP design services and LEED documentation for this important project.  The building's domestic water systems achieved a water reduction of over 40% compared to a code-compliant building.  The project met the Energy and Atmosphere requirements by following all of the recommendations prescribed in the ASHRAE Advanced Energy Design Guide for Small Office Buildings.  This project was unique in that it was a delivered via a design-build project system.
